Warwick – A Singing Town were delighted to be invited to present their achievements at the Future Fwd education conference, hosted by Warwick Schools Foundation on Monday 8 and Tuesday 9 July 2024.
Choral Entrepreneur Cerys Purser got all conference delegates on their feet and singing on Monday morning before being joined by children from Westgate Primary School in the afternoon to help her highlight the many achievements of this unique community singing project over its first three years.
We were delighted to be joined by Professor Graham Welch, Rebecca Ledgard from Ex-Cathedra and Ann Wright from Voces8.
Graham is an expert in everything to do with singing and the benefits of singing for children and young people.
Rebecca is Director of Education for Ex-Cathedra and amongst her many successful initiatives are the wonderful Singing Playgrounds and her amazing work singing with children in hospital – Singing Medicine.
Ann is Director of Education for the Voces8 Foundation and leads on their many singing programmes across the country and internationally.
